Our project was to make a vase out of paper mache. We started with a balloon, bowl and cup to make the base, and then began the process of putting layer upon layer of newspaper strips and paste. It's ooey, gooey, and deliciously messy.
After our vases dried, we painted them with acrylic paints.
Hooray for paper mache!
