Egyptian Art
Our next project in our tour of “Art Through the Ages” was Egyptian Art. We looked at the amazing pyramids built by the Ancient Egyptians and discussed the
artwork found inside.We read about the interesting way Egyptian artists portrayed human figures with the head, hips and legs in profile, while the chest faces front. We also looked at some hieroglyphics and talked about the discovery of the Rosetta stone.
